Denis J Screen

D.J. Screen & Sons was Established in 1992 By Denis Screen, after retiring from the Police service in 1984, Denis started work as a driver for the Cooperative Funeral Service on

St. Thomas's Road, Huddersfield and quickly worked his way up to being a fully qualified Funeral Director.

in 1988 a new Job opportunity became available and Denis started working for Hodgson Holdings (now Dignity) and again quickly took over the running of several branches in the Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas.

Denis was made redundant in 1992 so decided to come back to Huddersfield and open his own Funeral Home in Fartown which has grown steadily in the years following gaining a great respect in the local community we are proud to be a part of.

Gavin Screen joined his father on his first funeral at just 12 years of age and today oversee's the day to day running of the funeral homes.
