Attended and Unattended Funerals
What's the Difference?

An Unattended funeral, also referred to as Direct Cremation, is a cremation without a funeral service and with no attendees. This means that there is no formal ceremony before the cremation and no family or friends present.  This option can be ideal for those who prefer a cheaper or more private, low-key approach to saying goodbye or for families who may wish to hold a separate memorial service or celebration of life at a later date. As with Attended funerals, your loved ones ashes are safely returned to you.
Packages and prices shown are based on if you need our services now (At Need) as opposed to planning to
use ourservices in the future (Pre Need).

Disbursements are funeral charges made by a third party that require payment in advance if a funeral service taking place. These third-party fees are paid by us prior to the funeral service taking place and will then be charged to you on our final invoice.

Attended funerals are more traditional funeral services, often featuring a ceremony or service with family members, friends, and other mourners in attendance to pay their respects and honour the memory of their loved one. These services can be personalised and unique, creating a lasting tribute that reflects the life and personality of the person who has passed away.
